Who Qualifies?
You hold an advanced degree (Master's or higher) or Bachelor's plus 5 years progressive experience

The Process
PERM Labor Certification
Employer obtains labor certification from DOL proving no qualified U.S. workers available (unless NIW).
File I-140 Petition
Employer files immigrant petition with USCIS based on approved PERM (or self-petition if NIW).
Priority Date Assignment
Receive priority date and monitor visa bulletin for current status (wait times vary by country).
File I-485 or Consular Processing
When priority date is current, apply for adjustment of status or immigrant visa.
Green Card Issuance
Receive conditional or permanent resident status.

Form I-140 (Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker)
Approved PERM labor certification (unless NIW)
Advanced degree diploma and transcripts
